Like the squid and the shrink everybody lightening bolts. If you're towards the back and you shrink, then you're only tiny for a little while. However the lead person is shrunk for a long, long time. And there's less ink for the people in the middle of the pack when you get squidified. Tracy's and Chris' avatars now show up for me when I connect through Wi-Fi. I don't have AR's number yet... My fave courses are: Moo Moo Meadows (because I have to like it), Mushroom Gulch, DK Jungle Parkway and the Boo course on the pier. I can't remember the name of that one. I absolutely freakin' hate Rainbow Road. I have also learned the joys of using a cart with low drift. That tight cornering ability really comes in handy.

By the way, has anybody gotten a patched version of GH:3 yet? I have the envelope to return it and get the new version with the stereo sound, but I was wondering if it was worth it. Finally, I got MK! My wife picked it up for me yesterday and I was playing it last night. I suck and fall off the course whenever I get the chance, but it was fun. I'll post my number as soon as I can.

Firing that game up to go on wi-fi is a surefire way to make my internet go down. It was out for over a day last time - just long enough to cover my having a friend over to PLAY MARIO KART ONLINE! Just to prove that I am hated, my internet came up within a minute of my friend leaving. Since I am especially hated, it only stayed up long enough to tease me into thinking I had it back. As soon as I went to post (about Mario Kart) it went out again. Fuck me.

(Save Mirror Mode, as it's freshly unlocked.) Light racer + magikruiser + automatic = success! I feel like such a pussy for switching to automatic, but I beat something ridiculous like 9 cups once I switched over. Unlocking my Mii was the greatest thing ever. (I had used Baby Daisy before.) Considering my general suckiness at this game, little Chrispy managed to rip through all standard cups on 150, Lighting cup 150 and up to Star cup on mirror mode before losing. He followed that up by winning double stars in every 50cc cup. It almost makes up for me having the internet all of 10 minutes over the past two days. Almost. Then I hit the suck wall again and haven't won since. That's more like it. In the odd chance my internet stays up (HA!) I'm going to try online racing again tonight. Not planning on drunken racing, as last time I tried that (last night) I threw such a temper tantrum over getting item fucked on DK Mountain just before the finish line I scared the animals and concerned the family.

I was spending my time trying to connect to you and it kept saying no. That would explain why. I got frustrated and gave up. Next time I'll try paying more attention. If you were the dude who threw the bomb at me right before the finish line on Moonview I hate you forever. Also, my hatred of blue shells grows further. Some bastard playing Baby Peach (hmm...) hit the brakes to put me in first just in time for a blue shell to target me - even though I was behind. I also managed to get a blue shell in 4th place, toss it, have it spin around and destroy ME... since the top 3 had crossed the finish line at that point. Whoops. Overall, automatic on Wi-Fi was extremely productive. I rarely did worse than 3rd and only struggled if I fell back in large groups...since we all know how that works. By the end I was racing against people 2000 points above me, so even though I was getting my ass handed to me, I still got lots of pity points.

I feel like an ass, but I know you'd do the same to me if given the chance. I really enjoyed the heck outta tonight. If we all get on at once I'm sure it'll be a blast. Also, I try to log onto here and get in Chat when playing in case any trash talking needs to be done. Thus far nobody else has gone in there (not even Glebe!), but just an FYI since there's a decent amount of down time between races. I like that I have a 7000 rating, thank you.
