If he's a nonsmoker, ask about Tarceva (you might need to have a round of chemo first, though, per FDA regs). It's doing wonders for my dad. |

Yeah. We don't know much yet, except that it is the kind that my best friend's dad had (large cell). My friend's dad was cancer free after about
three months (and still is) and he was a heavy smoker and drinker and in bad health. My uncle is neither and in great health other than this, and younger. So
we're more hopeful than we were this morning when we had no information.
He got a pet scan this afternoon, but he's had no neurological symptoms yet as far as I know. |
