Spousal unit was bemoaning the fact that we don't have earthquake insurance. Actually, we do. I almost told him and then he said that it's just as well
because it would be a waste of money and the deductible would be like $50,000. Hmmmm. Guess I'll continue to keep this secret.

Cats are very low-maintenance.
I saw a hairless cat today (no metaphor intended). He went from creepy to cute in about 2 minutes. Later I think I sprained my wrist wiping out while trying to sprint to first base at my softball game - not even tripping, just legs giving out while running - getting not one, but two outs in the process. Only upside was Softball Girl didn't see it happen. I'm a doofus but at least she doesn't know yet. |

Rain would be nice. 104 degrees here right now. I think Tulsa's averaging one or two heat-related deaths a day since last week, most of them homeless people so far. It was still about 95 at 10pm last night when my 2nd softball game was turning south. My cat crapped on the bed last night. While I was asleep in it. She's having some issues and it's going to be at least another week before I can afford to take her to the vet. She may be living outside soon too. Softball Girl's last boyfriend was very girly, so I'm trying not to be too dorky and playing up what masculine side I do have to set myself apart. |

The only cure is some angry sex of which I will not be getting anytime soon. A funny aside, I overheard Mulletboy complaining to one of the other single guys about how he can get girls to talk to him. Other guy tells him if he makes eye contact they would be more likely to talk to him. Mulletboy's response was that in his experience they run the other way. LMAO! WHAT? This is the guy who I swear he had harem of girlfriends he strung along. I have a sneaky suspicion that Mulletboy is trying to hit on women half his age. Of course he isn't going to get any where with them. I remember being in my 20's and being totally creeped out when 40-somethings hit on me. |
