Lots to Cat on:
First, Happy Anniversary Jackal! Second, Happy Jamaican and Bolivian Independence Days to the rest of you! Third, I had the strangest lingering dream last night. I was laying in bed and I was surrounded by pillows. I was trying to logically configure the pillows into the most comfortable arrangement. I could never get comfortable and I eventually kept waking up, but every time I fell back to sleep the dream would start over again. In the end, it reminded me of my favorite quote from "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles." Steve Martin: Where's your other hand? |

I always liked the scenes with the guys from the neutral planet:

Ok... I am not good at this stuff anymore. So I am brining this to you guys for your opinions.
I sent a potential client I met at an open house a list of properties he might be interested in seeing. This morning, I sent a follow up email asking if he liked any of the properties and specifically mentioned one that we have listed in order to try to get him out looking at houses. I got this response back and I am not real sure what to make of it. "I know the one on Denniston I really don't like that area and I've been busy here at work hadn't looked at very many. How are you doing? how is your week so far?" It threw me enough that I question why he would have added those comments. Am I over reacting? Being a Realtor has the potential to be dangerous as far as meeting strangers and going in vacant houses. This is the first time in my 4 years of doing this that I have felt the least bit weird. |

I say innocuous. He may even be trying to be nice to hide the fact that he hasn't been doing his work on his end.

Probably innocuous. On the other hand, you get a weird vibe, which one should not discount. If you do go into an empty house with him, make sure someone in
your office (do I remember that you work with your dad?) knows where you are and who you are with (and have them call you during the tour, "hey , I'm
showing Mr. Smith a few houses, but will be back in the office in an hour or so, can I answer you then?"). It is possible to take precautions without
embarrassing a innocent but forward guy.

Missy, it's probably nothing but like Kate, I'd stick with your gut. I am learning to listen to those weird vibes and it just saved me from having to
deal with a jerkoff on the dating site. He only contacted me last week and has been bugging me like crazy to get my phone number. Something about him just
didn't seem right so I hesitated and wanted to think on it. His reply was to insult me. His loss!

UGH nokie... I swear. I don't think boys EVER grow up. (on offense to the fine young gentlemen on this board of course
Yeah. I responded back very professionally. Given the current market conditions I can't afford to just blow off clients. I haven't heard back yet. I will let you know if he gets creepy on me. I guess after that little experience recently with my heating/air guy I am a little sensitive. Geessh.. I am old, fat and ugly. I am not supposed to have worry about this crap. I deal with enough of it trying to help Ash deal with all her teenage drama. I don't need to worry about it for myself...haha |

Did something happen with Brett Favre yet? I haven't been able to find any coverage on it at all.

Brett Favre was cast in There's Something About Mary II: Electric Retireloo. But then he dropped out. Then he was back in it. Then he dropped out again.
Last I heard about him, he was pissing on Aaron Rodgers and screaming "YOU WILL WORSHIP ME".

Given the current market conditions I can't afford to just blow off clients. Wouldn't blowing them off help you with sales? Plus word may have gotten around that that's a perk you throw in with your house tours. I mean, just look at your subnic, for Christ's sake! |

A couple of weeks ago, I saw something that has stuck with with me about Brett Favre: "not since late 2001 has someone pissed away so much good will so
quickly."

I just talked with a woman in customer service with Windham Resorts named Elritt. I really dig that name. I can't find any etymology on it, but it's
still pretty.
