What I wasn't crazy about what Piers being a dick to Jesse about not using his wife. Overall I think Jesse did about as good as a person could do without throwing money at a task to get a victory.

I'd be shocked if Annie doesn't win especially if the final task involves fund raising. And it normally does. Brandy would have been a better choice
over Joan. It was clearly a "we need finale drama" choice.

I guess that means Joan won. Somehow. Missed it and it's not in my Hulu queue to watch later. The episode must have really sucked.

Yes it sucked Joan won, it sounded to me that Trump already decided that early on.

Cynical response: Since they brought Piers back for this season, Joan would be a bigger ratings draw for future seasons of the show.

I watched that crap for 3 hours just to see Joan win? Blech.

Go Joan! :D Was I seriously the only one here rooting for her? Yes, she went WAY over the top, and cringed every single time, but God, how I love her! Annie
was cool but ultimately just so... fake. I hate that.
(insert wisecrack about Joan Rivers' face here.) |

Did I miss something with the designer quitting? There was nothing on tape with the designer blaming Joan right? Just Annie claiming that is what he said? As
far as I was able to tell the designer quit because he couldn't handle the job or it was engineered by the producers to be part of the challenge and Joan
had no idea he blamed her.
Overall it appeared Joan put together a better event, Annie only won on money. Yeah, by a lot. Annie did much better during the season though and didn't do something that Trump hates - quit. I'm surprised Joan walking after Melissa was just swept under the rug. BTW, Annie is worse than Hilter. |

No, there was nothing on tape because they wouldn't let the cameras in. But I believe it to be true. Annie said they told her that the designer was
offended that Joan wanted him to talk to one of her friends, which we did see Joan ask. Although it is also believable that Joan had no idea that he quit
because he was offended, because from what we saw she wasn't told that. And according to my roommate the designer that Joan had is a "famous"
designer who has had his own design shows where he does ridiculously expensive weddings, so I don't think it had to do with him not being able to handle
it. (Note also that Joan was given the allegedly famous designer who is the owner of the company, and Annie was just given some designer who works at the
company.)

Also, I don't see why Joan got kudos for getting the people from her charity to help her decorate. They stood to gain $250K, so I think they'd have no
problem helping for one night.

I think that was less that they came from the charity and more that she mobilized an asset to tackle the problem. But it did seem like a bigger deal was made
out of it then was needed.

Joan totaly won just because she has a bigger name than Annie...
Annie dominated since day 1. |

Joan won and was picked by some of the celebs/past players because she could do more for their careers and Trump's for that matter.
