They should have forced Taj to choose to see her husband or let the others see their loved ones, not both.

Boo tornado warning. It's not even heading here, dammit. Who cares about rural misosuri?
Isn't coach from Missouri? He's probably called in the tornado spot so that he can claim that no one voted for him. DAMMIT. (they had the weathergirl tell us who left).

My theory is that they really, really wanted to show Eddie George on the program so they basically set it up where no one would not get to see their loved one.
Also, Eddie George looks like he could rip my head off with one hand.

I loved Stephen's explaination of how he remembered the symbol sequence. Total geekdom.
Anybody else notice that Coach's family doesn't want to be near him either? They're probably happy he's gone for a month or so. I also got a kick out of JT's and Taj's remarks about Coach. He was really eating it up. I wonder how long after he's been booted before he realizes he's not in charge of the game. |

And can I just say that I am LOVING this season? Definitely in the top 1/3 or so of seasons for me. It's just behind Micronesia at this point for me as far as the post-ASS seasons go. This whole season kind of feels like the sweet revenge of Pagong that we've been waiting for all these long years. Pretty obvious that Little Debbie would be leaving this ep, but then again, there have been plenty of eps this season where it felt like something totally obvious was going to happen, and then the rug got pulled out from under us. So no big deal there. |

Of course, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to do that with 32 days of very little food. Lots of confessionals about how Stephen and JT can do no wrong, and that they control the game, which is true, but that usually foreshadows the alliance getting blindsided. At 5 is the time to make a move to take out a power pair. I find it hard to believe Erinn and Coach pairing up, but I wonder if Taj finally steps forward in strategizing. She was front and center pre-merge, and a ghost after that. |

I feel like the reason Taj isn't doing much strategizing, which she has been taken to task for in a few places, is because she feels that she's in the
final two with Stephen and has a shot at it with J.T. There's no reason for her to stir things up from her viewpoint. Erinn, on the other hand, should have
been more willing to jump ship on the two of them, but hindsight really is 20/20.

At least this year the finale won't be on Mother's Day!

But the finale as always is the night of my spring bell choir concert. That means I'll be up until 2AM to finish it yet again.
When all the Stephen/JT "we're invincible" talk was going on, I became convinced the others would pull a blindside and vote out JT. I would have hated it and loved it at the same time. We finally saw Erinn say more than a couple lines tonight. That means she's either gone next week, or she makes a power play. At this point though, I don't think voting out Coach would qualify as much of a power play, it's too expected. Considering her pitiful performance in immunity challenges, she would have to target one of the guys. I just don't think she has a path to the finals without immunity and she can't get that with these guys around. There are a LOT of ways this season could still play out and I would be happy with any one of them that doesn't involve Coach winning. --A2K |

You know, as much as I dislike this Coach fellow I'm really glad he's lasted as long as he has as it's given me someone to actively root against.
Now, however, would be a good time for him to be eliminated.

You get the feeling Jeff is having fun with Coach around. When Coach said he was given the name Warrior and then Jeffs retort - don't remember the exact
line but is was along the lines of "Which Chief gave you that name"? He is dissing Coach so much and Coach is too clueless to realize it. What a
total douche this guy is. He may be the most annoying person to get this far since Dreamz.
And yes, Eddie George could rip the head off of anyone. |

I agree Taj has not needed to make moves. Her spot in the final 3 is secure. There is a possibility she may realize that she has a better chance beating Coach
or Erinn in the final 2, though, so if she is thinking ahead, now is the time to make a move. Final four is too late. It's not a big mistake on her part to
stick with the original plan. It makes the next two boots pretty predictable, though, and Probst keeps touting that this is the season of blindsides.

Atlantix2000 wrote:I can't see her getting Stephen or JT to turn on each other, they seem to trust each other too much. It would be masterful gameplay for her to do that and she hasn't show that she has that in her. Could she really get Taj and Coach to vote one of them off? Coach is too busy slaying imaginery dragons in his own fantasy world to know what's going on, she'd need to snap him back to reality to get it done. |

I think Coach realizes that Probst is making fun of him. He got a little whiny when Jeff asked the Chief question.

Atlantix2000 wrote: My interpretation is that Erinn is honestly not playing to win and that she's fine with that at this point. She maneuvered her way from being the next Timbira out to (probably) the last Timbira standing and I think she's actually satisfied with that. I think that's a big part of the reason why we see her plea in the next episode to just not be voted out before Coach. Being the last of her tribe--and the satisfaction of getting rid of all those jerks that she hated--is what she's playing for at this point, and while she'd probably love to land in the finals somehow, I get the sense that she recognizes that that is not particularly realistic at this point. |

I pretty much wanted to make out with Stephen when he started talking about how he memorized the symbols.
But you all know I have a thing for geeks. I want him to win now. |

rexfe1is |

I'm surprised he was the only one that did that because only going one length of the course means a good shot at winning. It was also funny when Stephen
got back, JT was half way through his equation. Stephen blew through it and JT was still wasn't done. That's just sad. It's simple math.

So, any other math nerds notice how that equation was wrong? Order of operation, people!
