I watched Craft last night, a bunch of shorts about some of the greatest actors and their methods. Going to down the list I see Brando, Poitier. Penn, Foster,
Streep and DiNiro and think this is going to be good. Then the last one is Nicholas Cage.
 When has he been anything other than average?

This starts with a blame, and ends in a woohoo, so it averages out to a cat post.
I scheduled an hour massage for 5 pm at a new place. The receptionist said that the masseuse stepped out and would be back directly. So I wait. Around 5:10 I start to get agitated and basically remind them that if I were late, I wouldn't get the full massage, so I probably shouldn't have to pay for the whole thing since they were late. I had to make it back for a conference call, so extending wasn't an option. So the owner just happened to wander in, and as it turned out, the receptionist who made the appointment failed to tell the masseuse, who then forgot to check whether there were more appointments, and went home. The receptionist didn't even call the masseuse until 5:10, about fifteen minutes after I got there. The owner felt so bad that they comped tonight (which ended up a 1/2 hour) and then gave me the equivalent of two hour long massages in gift certificates. So 2.5 hours free massage for me. |
