Bewitched: B- The Will-Ferrell-Annoying-O-Meter was relatively low. However, the Steve-Carell-Annoying-O-Meter was painfully high. At least his part was small. |

Shark Boy and Lava Girl- C-
This is what I was forced to see instead of Batman, Star Wars, or Mr and Mrs Smith. I have to say it was one of the worst kid movies I have seen in a while. The only redeeming quality to the flick was it's theme of dreaming and making your dreams come true. Glad I saw it as a matinee, wish I would have waited for it on DVD. |

It seems like one of those movies someone made while inspired by a Romero film rather than a Romero film itself. I did find myself rooting for the zombies (and that was intentional by the filmmakers). |

I should rephrase. I could use the line "it's not good but it was entertaining" for many movies, this was a truly bad movie. But it was entertaining, which was all it set out to do.
Ebert had a similar review and caught a lot of flak for it. I read it and thought, "What's he smoking, giving a movie 3 stars he admits sucked?" Then I saw it and understood |

A lot of it was confusing. But I thought that, for a Crusades movie in this day and age, it handled the conflict in an interesting and tactful manner |
